Want to buy a duck?

I had a chance to go out to the lake this morning and take a few photographs. Here are a few I took of some ducks. The first 2 are the same duck eating a small fish and the third is a mallard Landing in the water. I have never seen a duck like the first one before. Does anyone know what it is?

It's a Clark's Grebe.

Edit: After further review, it's a Clark's grebe. The red line from eye to mouth is the telltale sign. Grebes

It's a Western Grebe.

I think you're right actually. Female Horned Grebe. Hard to tell without knowing the location.
