Want to upgrade Computer

Have you tried a 30 image stitch lately?

What could you possibly need 30 images stitched together for? A panorama of the equator?

A -2ev, 0ev, +2 bracketed panorama shot in vertical orientation 6 frames wide by 2 frames high would be 36 frames.

Or stitching shots in a portrait for the "Brenizer" method may use 20-30 frames.

I have quad 2.8 with 6 gb of ram and it took almost 45 minutes to put one together, so I won't even attempt panoramas or "brenizer" method until I have an upgraded PCU.

Jake you might want to look into getting your GPU involved when crunching these images.
