Was getting up at 3:00 worth it?

Used the "Photographers Ephemeris" and it told me that Sunrise was at 6:02 across the valley - arrived at "Craters of the Moon Natl Park" at 5:30 and drove all around the park looking for the color (Wildflowers) covering the crushed black lava - Here's a couple from todays trip...

Everything you see on top of the black cinder rock are wildflowers in bloom... Never seen such color before !!
