Hi,
Today I bought the Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G ED-IF for 550€ (about 600$).

The lens is in great shape

Here it is, next to the 17-50 2.8 from Sigma (that I think I will sell)

And here it is, in the middle of my other two favourite lenses (35mm 1.8 and 70-200mm f4)

First impressions are awesome.
Build quality is amazing, no crackling sounds (like on the sigma), the AF is super fast and I am pleased with the image quality, color and contrast of this lens - even at f/2.8

Definitely a good buy.
I've had mine for a little over 3 years now and love it.
Aside from it being a great lens,you'll almost always get your money back if you decide to sell it.
That's what's great about buying used high quality OEM lenses.
Let somebody else take the beating buying new.

My buddy bought this same lens for his new D7200 also for 600$ so its a fair deal.
He loves this lens.
