Washed out Images

Hi,
I have canon sd 870 IS digital camera. Recently all pictures I click turn out to be washed out ( Completely white ). I tried changing the exposure to 0, reseting the camera but none of it worked. It getting washed out images in day/night light and all modes. Did anyone of you face similiar prob? How do I fix it ?

How long does the click last? If you take a photo during the day does it go click click, and at night does it go click ... ... ... ... click. ?

Or does it always go click ... ... ... ... click?

Is it possibly set to manual mode? Make sure it's in fully automatic mode.
