I don't know. I read the previous two comments and I started to wonder: have my eyes gone totally to hay, or did my monitor flip its lid last night, or, darest I say, does someone else need glasses. I am not trying to be rude, though there is not way to critique this shot without a bit of tartness, but this image is out of focus on almost every level. This isn't an deliberate abstraction, nor some other artsy-fartsy statement; this is an out of focus shot with blown out highlights, blocked in blacks with too many focus points to really tell what is the most important. Sorry Dark Shadow, but I disagree as to it being the best shot ever posted on this forum, though I guess, as per ryanparker who has never met a shot he didn't think was awesome, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Sorry, but sometimes you just have to say what it is and to that end, what its not.

Actually I said,it was the best I haven seen on the forum not that it is the very best, but then again I have not looked through the entire forum at all the other pictures.maybe I am wrong but dont slightly out of focus for that particular shot give that dreamy effect for the waterfall.

This is a very nice composition, however, I agree, not enough DoF. The black rock at the bottom of the falls appears to be the only thing in focus, and its marginal. Good eye though. Keep shootin'

For those who have mentioned the focus issue, I THINK it may be motion blur caused by hand holding the the filter in front.

How would holding a filter throw off the focus, unless OP was knocking the camera around a bit, but still, huh? Where was hand holding the filter even mentioned?
