Watermarks? Photo editing?

If all you need to do is watermark and you'd rather not drop $650 on Photoshop, GIMP is the way to go. I use it on my Mac for much heavier lifting than that and it's been great (did I mention free?). The downsides are that it is harder to acquire and install and that it is more difficult to find good tutorial information on the web. If you are a little computer savvy and not afraid to learn, GIMP could be great. Just don't get discouraged in the first hour of playing with it.

just download and try. I do not use Vista, so I would not know.

The webpage is not really informative either.

it says Vista as well, but that might be misinformation. just give it a try.

hey alex, thanks for the link to picture shark, its so useful...im sad i messed up and made the watermark too small...especially angry 'cause i handwrote it with my drawing pad thing...is there a way to make it bigger without it being all pixelated?
