Waves crash at Portland Head Light

Went up and explored the Maine coast last night. First stop was Portland Head Light, and I was blown away at how beautiful Cape Elizabeth is. We started here around 5pm and went to the Old Orchard Beach pier and Kennebunkport before passing out around 5am. I stacked a 2 stop ND filter and a CPL for this to drag out the shutter speed a bit and get some more motion for the waves.

I'm not really sure what distortion you're talking about. The building, not the actual lighthouse, is on a bit of a hill making it appear off center...not sure if that's what you're referring to

Yeah, I wish the shot was corrected for distortion jsut a bit. Just enough to make it appear like the lighthouse is perfectly vertical.

I know what distortion is, thank you. Like I said, the lighthouse doesn't appear perfectly level because it is built on a slight hill. I do appreciate the feedback, and I don't want to be one of those people who responds negatively to any criticism, but it appears to be leaning to the left because it does...not because of distortion.

no really. something happened there he aint kidding you. And ive been to Portland headlight lots of times. But if it makes it better, it really isn't that noticeable. It isn't just that it leans though, the upside cone form of it doesn't appear uniform or cylindrical or whatever you call it. He might be right here. And if you look through other photos of it (i just did double checking myself) you will notice some lean, most do not. But mostly, the times ive been there, i don't recall seeing any leaning going on. not very noticeable though. you still made a really nice photo here.

perhaps you put much faith into your tripod level, it is pretty uneven ground there too and not much to use for a guide to keep the frame straight nothing is straight there (except i think the lighthouse). Designer might have already nailed the issue here though.
