Hello! I would like to pick your minds with a question......Is there any free web hosts to post a portfolio....Any sugestions welcome....

Not that I know of but that said webhosting is not expensive these days
I pay $30/ year for my domain, dns, and web hosting (100mb). It's not the cheapest, and still nothing compared to my other normal expenses.

Some friends of mine host a forum at http://890m.com Its a free hosting service with a lot of very good features.

I was very skeptical, since their offer seems too good to be true. But they have been using it now for a month with consistently good performance. (was down for a short while once). I keep thinking there has to be a catch, but there really doesn't seem to be.

If what you want to do is important, then I suggest you pay for a host (or if its really just photos I love smugmug's paid service). But if you just want to throw up a few photos and show them to some people then that free service might do it for you. (please note 250MB limit).

I bought my own domain and host a year ago, and tried making my own website only to later realize if you don't know a lot of code, its not gonna look good. Ill be canceling my domain and buying a new one to link yo my new gallery, which of through SmugMug.com, which ive found to be very useful and creative, and customizable. Its only 30 a year for a basic plan, which i find reasonable, 60 if you want to do some custom code.

They are pretty cheap and give a lot of feature.

I dont know about a photo gallery or such tho. THey have either drag n drop or HTML code stuff basically..
