Wedding at the Ranch

My 4th wedding - looking for some C&C. These are the initial edits, not the finals. I should also note that up in BC Canada, our whole province is a forest fire. The smoke in the air was especially thick this day and I was having a hard time with it. I dont have filters for all my lenses at this point, and even so, I'm not sure how much they would have helped.

I like your images very much, and being only
your fourth wedding I think they are impressive.
(And I'm not easily impressed.)

I really like the way you position your subjects,
it all looks very natural and not forced.

A coincidence, I'm from BC also, and into wedding
photography. I've done about ten. With some
real good photoshopping I think you will have
some great photos.

Very nice work! I feel bad for all you interior BC photographers working with all that haze. It can be nice for a but the whole day? Ew! I think these turned out wonderfully

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Here are a few more that I have, again, just the initial edits. Any C&C is greatly appreciated.

This one is just kinda for fun - these were the bartenders, taking a break during the dinner. I wished I could have avoided the bell, but I couldnt. As soon as they heard me take the shot, they promptly went inside ;o)

I really wish there was some more detail in the sky, but instead it's completely white Probably because you've shot available light only ?

Thanks for the comments. I was using some fill flash and reflectors throughout the day. Unfortunately, the sky looked, well, exactly like in the pictures. The smoke in the sky from forest fires was so thick, there was no blue left at all.

Great set, I'm sure your clients are happy has heck with the results.

I had 2 comments

1- the sky lacks detail, but you already addressed this.

2- While I love the colours, sharpness, camera tilt and overall subject pose in #2, I feel there is too much sky in the image. Not sure it can be fixed with a crop though.
