Wedding photo ideas with 6 mo. Old

I have to shoot a wedding where the couple has a 6 month old.
They don't want the 'traditional' photos with the baby.
I have been racking my brain and am coming up empty.
Any help would be super appreciated!!

I am not quite sure what it is they are looking for unless they are looking for some kind of "non-traditional" wedding images, why not take "traditional" photos without the baby. Maybe take one of two with the baby, but then take the rest "sans bebe" so to speak. Would be nice if we understood more about what is it that they do want, rather than what they don't want - "They don't want the 'traditional' photos with the baby." - remember, the wedding is NOT about the baby...it IS about the couple...my 0.02¢.

Well, Indigo..., I had a look at the Balls Falls conservation areas web page (Niagara area right - making sure I have the right place) and maybe some shots of them in an outdoor setting of some sort with their son - seated on the grass, standing beside a tree, etc., not exactly non-traditional, but... My best thought would be to go and scout the area first and see what ideas you can get from looking for "non-traditional" areas - fence lines, trees, maybe inside/outside the old church. Have you tried searching on Google using the criteria "wedding photography nontraditional" or wedding photography unconventional" to see if you can get any ideas. (PM me if you want to discuss this further.)
