Weekly challenge 1/25-1/31 finding color in winter

For this weeks challenge, find color in winter scenes. Whether it’s a cardinal in the snow, a red barn in a stark field of brown, a child’s bright coat in a crowd or a colorful sky at sunrise - bright colors against a winter backdrop really pop.

The last time we really had a bit of snow here was in 2009, the winter in recent years looks more like a slightly cooler autumn, such as today 9°C clear weather, no rain. We have fantastic skating traditions on lakes and canals, but due to global warming this has almost become a thing of the past. In the park this morning.

oh thank you.. i wasn't sure whether it was a crackle or starling..
