Thanks, yes thats a good webpage (RTFM! lol). Split complimentary is yellow + orangey-red + bluey-green. They are evenly spaced. Analogous is from one to the next to the next on the colour wheel.

The colors are natural, but I may have tweaked the saturation and contrast a bit

The purple sky was Tropical lightning behind clouds, and the green sea was caused by LED streetlights reflecting off green seawater.

Analogous. To my eye, the sandals were more coral and some of the stones were cream. Could always pretend that the dandelions are in flower.

I was out at the tennis courts last week and was goofing around with a camera after I was done. Took a shot like this one but it was before challenge so I reprised it tonight inside (raining out).

Is it monochromatic or analogous or just boring?

I see it as monochromatic but you should post it online claiming it was suppressed by NASA and was actually taken on Mars but the Perseverance rover.

but why wouldn't black and white be complimentary?

Technically white is the inclusion of all colors and black is the absence of all colors so I don't see how they fit on the color wheel. Interesting shot.
