Weekly challenge 9/12 - 9/18 In the Abstract

@gk fotografie This is definitely your wheelhouse!

Well, where others have hobbies such as painting, drawing, knitting or fishing, I find it a soothing affair to fiddle with a bundle of editing programs and plugins, certainly in this covid period it's a nice pastime.

@gk fotografie love these out the box images, reflecting the melding of reality with digital manipulation from the mind of the creator.

Not sure how abstract this is but saw it on the walk home from the gym.

Reminded me of Buffett's "Come Monday" and the line:

"I spent four lonely days in a brown L A haze.. "

Except I live 2500 miles from L. A. and we still get their haze.

Embellish in post to add more grain/noise for effect. 30D with a dirty sensor.

it’s unreal that the haze from the west coast wildfires has reached the east coast - we have it here too. It may mean the early end of Milky Way season around here.

Try it anyway. The most memorable images are the exceptions and perhaps you can make this work with a longer exposure and higher ISO. The haze might add an interesting tint...or result in a big blob.

Come visit me in China in the winter, we will go to Beijing and you literally can not see 20 feet in front of you. Happens all of the time.
