I like #2 best. #1 looks like a grad filter on the right side, it's like dark brightness. It confuses my eyes. 4 looks like a cropped and modified 3. I like them both, but 4 grabs me more.

I like #2 the best. I like how the road guides your eye from the front of the image to the back. . How many photos did you use in your bracketing?

I would have liked to see the whole tree or at least more of it in #1.

I, too, really like the second one. It's the best of the bunch. It has a lot of different elements, nice soft light and muted tones, a really nice scene.

The last two really don't have a strong key element or anything exciting that draws the eye.

The structure of the trees in numbers 3 and 4 give the impression of an endless forest. I like this. "We're not out of the woods yet..."

I'm not sure if I'm answering right. I'm guessing : For exemple, there are 2 dots on the top right of the second picture, unless there was 2 random dot in the sky when you took the picture.

I think the first picture is better than the second one. I feel like the second is too "empty". Don't know how to describe that.

#2 becomes really more interesting if you crop out the trees on the left side ..... the path becomes the focal point. I do like all of them and they are a great exercise

Dalex - That does make sense. I can find the same two dots in #1, not so much in #3 but I'm sure they're there. Thanks!

Thank you, my sensor does need cleaning, that is my next priority! Number one I couldn't get any further back to fit the tree in but I liked the look of the shot!

And 3 & % I'm going to try a B&W conversion I think.
