What I loved most was reading the grass as grass, until it grabbed me. Clever!

Thank you guys Yes I've actually never left! I've been trolling, just haven't had enough time until recently to really sit and respond.

I've been doing many long exposure light paintings lately and when I saw how this came out I knew what had to be done. I hope the editing doesn't take too much of a front seat! Not meant to be a serious photo, however it is supposed to be a creative piece. As some of you know my work tends to be dark and humorous .

As far as the building in the background, it is supposed to be the spaceship the alien is arriving from. It is not accidental and is quite a purposeful part of the image, therefore removing it would cause some problems. The building also creates a strong contrast to pull your eyes away from the very bright being, at this point you are supposed to notice the letters in the grass. Without it, the letters would probably be even less noticeable.
