Wetlands...Viera, Florida

Many weekend my friends and I go out to Viera Wetlands to capture so much action. This place is so awesome...so much to see in a relatively small place!



1. Male Caracara which is banded at tracked by some orginization. There are about 3 or 4 adults and several juveniles in the Wetlands.

2. Juvenile Caracara...

3. One of the resident Eagle's.

4. The other resident Eagle (mom i think) in the fog..

5. Their youngster in the fog.....

6. Sandhill Cranes

About an hour. I used to live in Viera.... if they are talking about the Viera that is right next to Melbourne.

Great shots, thanks for sharing these. The cranes & the gbh stand out most for me. The juxtaposition of the cranes is really striking, and I love the detail in the shot of the heron with the youngster.
