What a differerence another zero makes.

First picture ISO 3200, on the D700 and the second pic is the D90 at ISO 1000, I actually gave up in that auditorium the lighting was so horrible.

Both pics are just for fun, at my daughters music festival, but this way I can show my husband why this new camera is so much better. He saw it and was like, its just a camera that looks like the old one with another zero.

Thanks, these are just snapshots, trying out high ISO with the new camera. Its amazing what a difference it makes.

The group shot looks like crap...the sensor's just too noisy. The second shot, of the girls dancing, is usable even with the Noise Reduction. There's a world of difference between the two.
