Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Ok here is a photo I took with my kit lens a few days ago. I like the composition of the image. I use Lightroom 3.3 for editing, and played with it for awhile as you can see. Notice the colors blurring together on the flag? What can be done to fix this?

Any tips on ways to fix this image would be awsomely appreciated.

CC welcomed.

Well in order to get the colors to not blur like that you should use less exposure time. Anytime there is inherent movement in a shot, you must minimize exposure time of the lens or you will get some blur. It looks good overall though IMO.

If your talking about the blurring at the outer edge, I agree that a faster shutter speed is needed. Seems like a bright sunny day, what were your camera settings?

Basically, in LR3, I used the adjustment brush, set the exposure up 1/2 stop and the saturation down to -75. Ohh and I leveled it too, that annoys me.

Yea,thanks!

Yea, I just got lightroom, so I'm still figuring stuff out. Im new to photography in general, thanks for the help.

Do you know of any good websites that have tutorials for LR3?

Here's my idea of what could help.

Why not have your cake and eat it too?

Here's mine. I just desaturated the white lines and it took most of the red out.

Lol, you used cs5 for this ps?

Thanks for all the different renderings guys.

I'm just playing with picture after picture at night after work. It's the only way to learn for me.

I wish I could quit my job and just take pictures all day, tis my dream.

Lol yea saw that, idk I thought it looked kinda cool. Thread was more about the blurring color problem, and how to stop it from happening the next time I shoot.

My pictures have been limited to my front and back yards as of late because of work lol. So I have been trying to learn editing with light room at night lol.
