I think that your first good picture is not a good picture. But the second one is okay. A bit less sky/more ground in the second pic would do better.

In the first pic, it would of been a lot better if you focused on the town instead.

Actually, I was thinking that the first one is better than the other =P

The first one would have been a good shot if there was something happening on the rock face, like someone climbing it, otherwise it's just a rock face.

The second one could make a good shoot, but I'd try to do it on a day where it wasn't hazy.

About the second pic, do u think some editing with PS would make it look better?

Just a teeny bit less sky in the second one would be OK. I like the compositional thought behind the first one, but the focus is not right. Even if the rock was focussed it doesn't appear right to me.

Anyway, great scenery. I'm envious of your opportunity to take such breathtaking scenery. I always believe that technical issues come second when it comes to landscapes, and I love landscapes. :)

As to the first photo, all's been said that needs to be said. Focus is downright wrong, as it is on something completely uninteresting.

As to what you can further do to help your second photo along (which has a tad too little countryside to be seen at the bottom, though I am happy NOT to see a horizon that cuts the photo in two equal halves!!!) is to separately brighten that part of your photo, without touching the sky. I usually work with a very well feathered lasso tool (not knowing if the new versions of PS still have this feature?) so work on separate parts of a photo, others prefer to work with layers. Also I would tend to crop off the dark grey part of the clouds closest to the upper part of your picture, but that's also because I'm used to the format my camera gives me (2:3 it is, I think, not 3:4).

The first one is cool, there just needs to be more in focus.

Thanks everybody =)
I'll take your pieces of advice in consideration next time I wanna shoot some photos.
I really appreciate it, since I'm newbie to this forum and to photography as well

Whoa at first I was coming into thread thinking I was going to see some downright amazing images. First one is in my honest opinion not "good" at all. There is literally 10% of the photo in focus. I think I saw someone say that your subject in uninteresting, and I agree. Your subject is a tiny sliver of rock...I mean if you like it, that is all that truly counts though.

The second one is most certainly better than the first. Focus seems pretty spot on, but I feel way too much negative space which also takes away from your overall photo.

I agree there needs to be much more in focus.

The shot makes it look like he was hanging off the side of a cliff, which makes it a cool shot to me.

Were you rock climbing when you shot this?

1st picture you should have used used small aperture.
f/3.2 wasn't a good option for it. Try F16 of F18

First one is a write off, out of focus and uninteresting thanks to that.
Second one, I'm guessing you want you're subject to be the sky? Seems underexposed. But sorry, they're not very interesting pics in general.

Actually I were not, this rock that It seems you're imagining it people a big rock is in fact a small one, 2 meters high approximately. i dont know why it does look bigger in this picture. Lol

Such sharp comments guys =D..I like that actually, It makes me wanna focus more and try my best to get some satisfying pictures =)

Thanks y'all
