What effect was used in this video?

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows what effect is used in the below music videos??

I am pretty sure in both music videos they are trying to replicate old video cameras? Anyways, I was curious if anyone knew what the effects used and how I can replicate it in Photoshop?


(Best examples; 0:37-0:50, 1:37-1:51, 3:45-4:01) (How do they get the very orange tones? Very grainy?)



(Best examples; 1:24-1:37, 2:32-2:54, 4:47-4:52) (Same here but not as much orange, more over blown exposures?)

Bottom line is I would like to know how to replicate and old video camera film look in Photoshop.Thanks.
