The trash bin thing wasn't rude, although it may seem that way. It was blunt, but not rude. You will find that sometimes, instead of stewing over a pic trying desperately to make something out of nothing, sometimes you would be better served to learn from why it doesn't work, and reshoot in a better manner. (ie. throw it away and stop wasting your time on it. ) Thats what they were trying to tell you. It just comes out blunt. I am sure no offense was meant. (I also agree by the way)
A better angle would have been better ( aside from the composition/cropping ) There is too much blurred forground distaction. That can work sometimes, but in this case its working against you.
