When I planted this sweet cherry tree it was just a 4' whip with no lateral branches @ all.





At least I will have firewood if no more cherries.

No but I bet you would like some of my hickory shavings. I love smoked meat & fish but my wife actually dislikes it.

Ah, smoked trout! Smoked with alder. I have 9 hickorys (tiny now) in my yard, about a cord of oak, a cord of black cherry, and a fair amount of apple. I have three alders as well, but alas, no trout.
