The first is a "burning in card". It's an adjustable one, made with safelight type material. A very nifty-looking example of the genre.. The second photo has a set of "dodging tools", basically cardboard shapes on wires. Both were used when making enlargements.

Didn't know what it was but find it interesting... I now want one! LOL I have a nice dodgette set I got at a camera swap although mine has various black shapes to attach just to one end.

Right. I knew you would know what it was used for. Sparky was close, but it was not for use in camera, rather during enlargement.
I find it interesting that they made such a thing back in the day, when vignetting is so cliche today.
