Really? I have used flash and I felt I got accurate colors lately it seems as if my flash is putting this beige muted tone on all of it.

You should look into Gels for your flash. Remember that unless your completely overpowering the sun with flash, you still have mixed lighting just like mixing flash with different indoor light sources.

This is what I'm thinking about it too....honestly I like the composition her hair isnt bothering me (because it was 30mph winds that day!) it's just the color yuckiness I see I can fix it in post but I really want to learn to fix this in camera

The photography is fine.
I think if theres issue its with the pose. her wrist and arm seem stiff and this should exude LOVE where it seems forced. Allow them to just "play", not pose and you'll capture a WAY better emotion.

Its a good shot just the one critique on the pose and their "lack of" connection emotionally to each other

I think the size difference of the models is the biggest thing I can see. With such a difference you are going to have a hard time balancing the frame.
