I also have the BR sling, but I actually rarely use it. Just recently ditched the factory Nikon strap and picked up this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017L3689K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Works well enough, and can just unclip it when I don't need it on there.

I use the Joby Sling Strap.

They have a few versions and I am not 100% sure this is the same one. I am far from a pro shooter and this has worked well on several vacations. I think I have been using it for about 5 years.

Peak design slide and cuff with and love them both.

Cuff is really nice on a hot day with a small lens. Anything else the slide is a dream.

Additional feature for me is when traveling I wear the slide under a backpack. Because it's smooth it doesn't get stuck or catch and it makes it a lot harder for someone to pull the camera off my shoulder.
