Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I don't want to be spending £100+ for a site to store images to clients can purchase. I've tried photobox but i'm very simple minded and very confused about it (so if anyone uses this free site please personal message me). What sites do you use and what are the charges? thanks

None.
Selling in person resulted in a much higher average sale.

Having samples clients can see an touch is invaluable.
Better still if the room you do sales in is set up like a living room so people can see what the images would look like as framed or otherwise mounted wall size prints.

just out of curiosity....how do you deal with friends or family of clients that live out of state or out of the country, but want to buy photos? maybe they want to pick out some pictures to have framed up nice as a wedding gift to the bride/groom. or do you tell them they cant buy any pictures unless they fly/drive to your studio?

in person proofing is great, but not always feasible 100% of the time.

OP, we use smugmug, but we pay for the pro version that is $35 a month. they have online galleries. I dont know what they offer with their free version.

I don't have the money to sell on site so that's out of the question this time in my life. I need to find something below £100 per year which is proving a difficult task :(

I actually prefer to meet in the client's home; using Preveal on my iPad, I can give them suggestions as to locations and show them what their images will look like in a given spot (No Mrs Smith, right in front of that window that gets full sun everyday from 10.00 - 3.00 is possibly NOT the ideal location).

For those who I can't meet with personally, I upload a Lightroom gallery to the client area of my website and send them a link, username & password. I see NO point in spending extra money when I already have a website up and running.
