what size is your lens mount?

what size is your lens mount? (thread size for filters, rings, step-up/step-down rings ... etc.) ... what size step rings do u have/use?

I planned to use all 72mm filters until I bought that damn 28-85 zoom that takes 82mm filters... :cry:

So, I have step up rings that'll get me from 28mm (the Coolpix) all the way to 72mm.

I have some older 52/55mm filters that I use with the Coolpix to keep things reasonable, though I won't buy anymore that size.

Actual lens filter diameters are 28/52/55/62/67/72/82. You can see why I went with step up rings.

4"x6" filters have my attention at the moment, but that could change any second.

With my G3 I use a 58mm adapter / filters plus a 58->62mm stepping ring. I am also getting the Lensmate 52mm adapter.

My Nikon 35 film gear which is gathering dust at the moment I have lenses which take 52,62,67 and 72mm filters plus 62->77, 67->77 and 72->77mm stepping rings

hmmmmmm i think i'm getting lens mount envy...
I've only got one cam and no lenses!!! Once i find a lens which is in my price range.. i'll let you know
