What Software to use ???

iwonder if someone could recommend software which i can use for making trick photos, eg: changing heads split images etc:

Yup, Photoshop is the best one out there for your needs.

Photoshop is very expensive, so you might want to look at the Gimp. It's free and quite powerful.

There's also a more affordable version of Photoshop CS2 called Photoshop Elements. it's a quasi starter version, and will probably have the features you want. The good thing about these two applications is that many people use them, so you're more likely to find advice on how to use it should questions arise.
