Hey guys,

I'm still a noob at photography (my gear is in my sig). Been trying to do some research on here and I've narrowed it down to having to get a GND filter. I just can't seem to find a particular "stop" everyone recommends in general. I'm willing to spend the money for a better brand like a Singh-Ray and I plan on getting a rectangular one but I don't know which stop to get. Which one would you recommend? Is there just one that I could use universally?

Below are a couple of pictures I took this past week in Colorado when I was on vacation with family to give you guys an idea of my shots. I'm sure there's more than just a filter I need to get better looking shots but the blown out skies are just killing me. Landscape and nature are my favorite types of photography so a GND would save me lots of future headache.

Thanks in advance!

PS - would a CP filter be worth it for something like the 2nd shot?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I guess I'll keep trying to find answers.

Get an 0.3.
And an 0.6.
The 2 stacked then also give you 0.9
Add an 0.9.
Then you can also do 1.2, 1.5, and 1.8.

Six for the price of 3 - 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8.
