Whats the Best Scanner

:?: I'm in the market to purchase a new scanner and I was hoping that I could possibly get some opinions from some of you on what is a good one. I was looking at one of the Canon ones today that looked pretty good but I wanted to do a little more research before I purchased it. If any of you have any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated.

I use an Epson Perfection 3200. It produces good quality and is capable of scanning negatives up to 4x5.

For a slide and negative scanner I love my Minolta DiImage III for $300. Found that flat bed scanner are a waste of money for slides. They are great for scanning prints and My old Epson 1240 U is as good as any of the fancier ones.
