Do you understand what I mean by "Composition can be your subject"?
That you don't need a person or thing to photograph, to make a somewhat compelling image? Do you understand what abstract art is about? Did you know learning about it can leap frog your understanding of composition as it applies to subjective/representational photography?

I don't find myself wanting to do smoke and water drops; I am working with a topic that interests *me*. Trust me I am not complainging I'm bored or have no time. I'm challenged to improve an aspect of photography that interests me. I've seen others work who have done very well, no extremely well with smoke and water and their compostions and abstracts are incredibly compelling.
