If you don't mind my asking, just how many times have you been married?

It's a bit difficult to say exactly but I would guess I've had about 12 or 13 wives - of course only three of them were mine.

Not much I can say about this other than "very nice". The passport is a nice touch that makes you really think about it.

I think we were preparing for a trip to Japan and she was checking the date on her passport and thinking how much life and she had changed since we got married.

It is very evident to me that there is a story being told here. I think that's why I like it so much - it's a very nice photo, but there are more layers than just that.

I think that the most memorable pictures have some bit of meaning and some bit of mystery as if the viewer is not looking at a two dimensional collection of tones but is looking through a frame into another reality and that reality is not completely revealed.
