Where can I get cheap furniture for short term? I will probably need some furniture like table, chair and a bed when I go to Boston this summer cus so far I can only find non-furnished sublease ones. I called "rent a center" and the rent for a desk alone will be like $50 a month! Anyone anyone?! Or anyone who lives around Boston would like to loan some furniture?

I'd check the goodwill stores ... you can probably find cheap furniture which you could just donate back to goodwill when you leave -- you just might not have the most stylish pad ever but who knows you can do alot with a little

That's an idea. There are many students in the area and I was thinking I could buy things off cheaply from those who are leaving, then sell or donate them later.

However it's just a hassle that I need to get rid of them later. Why if I can't get rid of all of them in time?
