Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Ignorant question, I know.. But where is the best place to get prints made? I finally came in contact with a client who wants prints done and I have no idea where to go...

At my office, I have several large to small canon printers.

But i not sure of a good place because i have never need to go outsource for prints.

Kennesaw, Georgia ugh i go Americus, Georgia several times a year i like Georgia is a great state lots of forests but not sure i like clay ):'

For the smaller stuff I use an HP Photosmart printer. For the bigger stuff I go to a place called Superior Photo in Morgantown WV. They have one of those big suckers with 36" paper. The tech lets me go in and edit it and then prints the big stuff for me.

I use Mpix. Good quality and affordable price.

I've used costco. I've heard mpix has great quality but you pay for it. Costco seems to be great quality for the price.

I've used mpix in the past and i like them. For smaller stuff I use my canon printer and for the bigger stuff I usually go to costco.

Where I got prints made depended mainly on the type of print I needed.

There are C-prints, inkjet prints, and offset press prints.
There a variety of paper type finishes - matte, semi-gloss, glossy, metallic, for B&W images, and a variety of other media like canvas, acrylic, metal, wood.
There are spray on coatings that help protect a print from UV light and fingerprint oil.
Then there are all the inkjet specialty fine art papers from bamboo based papers to rice papers.

There are photo books and photo albums. Photo books tend to be offset press printed while albums usually have c-print or inkjet paper pages.

For inkjet prints there are many types of ink/dyes/pigments, water based, solvent based, and some that have to be cured with UV light.
Inkjet print color fastness and longevity can vary widely depending on the combination of paper and ink used.
