Which crop/framing do you prefer?

Just wondering which you prefer?
The first is a crop from a shot with a more shallow depth of field. The second is a second shot, uncropped with a greater depth of field.

These look over sharpened to me - I had sharpened them before uploading, looks like flickr applies sharpening as well?

It depends on what you want the main focus point to be. In the first one my eyes were first drawn to the tree, in the second one it was the flowers first and then the tree. Personally, i like the second one better of the two.

Yes, Flickr sharpens on upload.

#2 works better for me, flowers lead my eye to tree in a nice way. I would try to lose the power lines, tho.

#1 is my choice.

I find the second too bottom heavy.

For me, the flowers are more interesting than the tree, so I like #2. I also like the sky better too.

I like the 2. better. The flowers look pretty and the horizon is well-placed.
