Which do you prefer?

I could from now on play with this one to eternity, really, because exposure was so difficult with the patch of sunlight through the window on him and the deep shadows, but I thought, hey, let me try a 5-pic-HDR for a change (I had never done that before), but actually, to tell you the truth, the attempt to create an HDR was mere play. And I thought, which photo might render itself more to some "playing" than one that has such broad dynamic range?
