Which DSLR to choose?

The D5000 was my first camera, and I still own it. It will do everything you want, and more. It will be a sufficient camera for quite some time. As far as bracketing, it will take 3 bracketed shots. It has a decent buffer in continuous shooting mode, and the swivel screen has been useful. My only complaint is the 230k screen, as opposed to the 921k available on many other dslr's. But, all in all, I've been more than satisfied with the camera, and it has never let me down. Been reliable from day 1. The camera is a breeze to use.
