I'm not a fan of #3, it seems needlessly artificial. Between the other two I think it depends on your intent with the photo. If you're trying to present the guitar itself I prefer #2, but if the intent is to present the act of playing the guitar (you want to include the human element), then #1 gets my vote.

I think its called the neck, i could be wrong tho.....but i was thinking the dirt/dust was real noticable myself.
