Hey, I think it's about time to get a ND filter. I have been putting it off for too long. Which filters do you use and recommend? Should I go with a circular or Cokin version? I'd like to spend no more than $50. Help appreciated. Thanks, Paul
I'd definitely go with Cokin although I have had mine about 2 months and haven't used it yet (haven't found the right occasion) The rounds ones can't be slid up or down to match your horizon. I have a Grad ND4.
Definitely the gel filters (Cokin if you're on a budget, Lee or Singh-Ray if you can afford them) for exactly the reason Big stated. If you can look for a couple; a 1 and a 2 stop which gives you a lot more flexibility.
