Which GND filter for wide angle

I have a set of GND filters with a Cokin P type holder. The filters are 80 X 100mm. Will this set up work with my Tokina 11-16 DX format lens (77mm) without vingetting? Should I be using a larger holder and filters. That would work with my with my 2 kit lenses (67mm) as well as the wide angle. I seem to spend hours trying to figure out what to buy online. Thanks for any responses.

I think you may have to consider a different filter system for your lens. Cokin P holders are only good for focal lengths from 28 mm focal length and up. Think of obtaining a large format wide angle filter and you should be set.

Do you have a preference? Cokin has some larger filter holders and I saw one for Lee filters at Camera Filters The Filter Connection 2filter.com Sales Tax Free camera filters for digital cameras HD filters, F Pro 1st choice, B+W filter, Tiffen T1 IR, IRND, Marumi DHG Camera Filters, Formatt HD filters and Canon cli 221 Inks The lee setup was pricey.

Ditch the filter holder altogether. Just hold the filter in front of the lens with your finger tips. If you really want bigger, go with the Cokin Z Pro series.
