The color in the second one looks just a bit more intense to me, so I'd say the 2nd is my choice. Seem very close though.

Thanks, Chase. That is my problem...I just can't decide. They were taken seconds apart somewhere in the middle of Illinois between Wisconsin and St. Louis.

I like the second one best also. The fence in the first photo is a little distracting to me - can't really see it in the second.

I'm thinking: Do I want to see that fence and what is there on the ground (houses and all) or do I not want to see it?
I think I don't want to see it. It is not important for this photo.
The colours, however, are.
And they are better in the second photo.
So it is the second, after all .

I agree. I'm thinking I like the second one best. The first one the fence seems to drags your eyes away from the sunset which was the whole point of the picture, whereas in the 2nd one you can't even hardly see the fence so your eyes stay drawn to the sunset more, which is good..well theres my 2 cents worth of constructive criticism. Good Job. :thumbup:
