workshops will start as soon as I figure out which end goes up. And how does it stand up with the legs so close together like that ? It keeps falling over. now I've completely ruined 2 perfectly good Kodak Instamatics.

I KNEW there was a tripod thief on TPF!! My original tripod suddenly disappeared about three months ago. And the last time I remembered having it with me, I was logged in on TPF? Coincidence?? I think NOT.
(Granted, in my case, that original tripod was what I'd used with my point and shoot and it really needed to be replaced anyway. But when you're both poor AND cheap, well, you use what you've got. My sister gave me a much better tripod for my birthday, and we all know now that has made ALL the difference. )

You would be surprised at how very little money it takes to buy the kind of tripod that makes you a REAL photographer. This is why you'll need to take my workshop, to learn these things. :lmao:
