Which Polarizer?

Okay I have no clue about polorizers so I need someones opinion...
Which of these is the real deal (asin not a waste of money... or will they all work the same!!)

Take the hama one. I really recommend it. As far as I see it's coated.
A Neutral density filter makes the scene darker, so you have to use lower shutter speeds (ND4 - 4 stops). This is used for motion blur for example.

1) Polarizers for modern SLRs should be "circular" polarizers to ensure that the metering and autofocus systems are not messed up.
2) High quality filters do make a difference. Consider that you are adding two or more flat glass surfaces to the light path.
3) "High quality" includes multicoating.
4) "High quality" also includes, in some instances, multicoating specifically intended for digital sensors.
5) A fluourescent filter and a UV filter are useless with digital cameras. IF your concern is lens protection, get a clear glass "protector" filter.

You will need to look up the manufacturer's specs to determine which filter is high quality. At least one of your options includes "no name" filters. That makes it tough to get the manufacturer's specs.

I would recommend exactly none of those. Look to either Singh-Ray, B+W, or Heliopan. Filters effectively become the first optical element in your lens, and a cheap filter is worse than nothing.

the Singh-Ray costs more than my bloody lens!!!!
Perhaps If I had the money, and a lens that it would effect greatly, I would, But on a 75-300mm USM III / 18-55mm EF-s I dont think so
I wish I could afford them!! However, Im a student working part-time on £4.50 an hour
in my bank I currently have £100 (did have £240 but had to pay debts + bought Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2)

+ I use a hoya 58mm UV filter which does it's job well ( and I have witnessed a reduction in purple haze... but only slight)

Look into a Hoya HMC lens, or SHMC if you can afford it. They are both really good quality. I have an SHMC UV filter and I could tell no degredation in quality in my tests....I still only use it when needed for me(harsher conditions for lens protection), but it's nice to know it's not killing my IQ. The HMC/SHMC Circ. Polarizer should be equally as good.

Okay, that puts a slightly different spin on it. Both Hoya and Tiffen are decent, IF you get the multi-coated versions, they're more expensive, but worth it. I didn't see any of those indicating that they were multi-coated. If you can't afford one right now, you'll be better off in the long run to wait until you can.

Nobody's talking about Hama filters. There rare and I happen to own one. It offers great quality for a descent price.

I just ordered what seems to be a very good and very reasonably priced Marumi DHG polariser. It is made in Japan and receives very good reviews and should be available from most European outlets from about £25-30.

Actually most multicoated filters are just fine.
Hoya, HMC, SHMC, Kenko KMC, DMC, these filters offer an amazing performance vs price. B+W and other top of the line ones definitely don't. The law of diminishing returns comes in at a very very low point for filters, but there's a very steep rise in quality up to that point.

I.e. a $30 filter can be absolute crap, a $50 filter can be excellent, a $200 filter can be just that little tiny bit more excellent.

I honestly see no difference in filters tbh (not used enough of them) so I wont really notice much

I think Linear polarizers trick the meter and thats why your supposed to use a CPL but I'm not too sure.
