White Cliffs

Hi all

Would be very grateful if SKS could advise the best way to obtain a quality shot of white chalk cliffs on a sunny day - previous attempts have fallen down with lack of any detail from within the cliffs, so what do I need to do, please?

Meter for the highlights on the cliff-face and use a grad-ND and/or circ-pol filter to keep the sky under control.
