Hey, this is my first real attempt using photoshop. I appreciate any comments/critiques anyone has to offer...hopefully nothing too critical.

i would try to darken up the hill and sky in the background. They look over exposed. Shouldn't be too difficult in photoshop. Other than that i think its a nice picture.

I agreed with what they said. The bottom contrast is perfect, the top seem a little too bright. Colors is nice, love it.

I clicked on the link to make the photo larger.
I do not think it is so much over exposed, as it has a shallow depth of field. The clouds are over exposed, may so that they are not recoverable. Some other method of editing will have to be employed.

I have hiked the White Mountains. I have stayed in several of the cabins. They take real good care of the people up there!!
