who really has the best price on CANON camera?

I have the Xti and it appears that I need to replace it. I don't know the huge difference in the 3 models that came out since the Xti. I don't want to spend several hundred extra just for a couple of features. I am not a pro, but I do love photography. People have offered to pay for my services, but I'm the one who always takes photos for free...as I know I'm not good. I need to understand my light and my settings. Sooooo, shall I browse on AMAZON or do you think another site might beat the price? The Rebel XS $483. And the T3 is $499. The other ones are more expensive.. I think the T3i is $847. I don't know the huge difference b/w the T3 and T3i - and if they are features I would even understand as a beginner.

We need more info to be helpful. Why do you need to replace the xti? Is it malfunctioning? Is there something that you want to do that the xti is not allowing you to do?

Yes, I want to replace my Xti. The internal flash will not pop up. I have an external flash but it appears it won't fire correctly due to issues w/ the camera, it's not connecting. I've posted other threads trying to figure out ways to fix what I have and I've called CANON support. I've decided to go ahead and purchase a new camera. I want to stay with Canon since I have some lenses already. But I don't want the most expensive Canon as I am not a PRO, I want to learn and get better with my photography and some day maybe I will be good enough to accept payment for my services. Right now I just need to practice, practice, practice. So trying to decide which Canon to go with. I'm thinking about the T3 for $499 but that is an Amazon price and don't knnow if anyone has a better price. Thanks for your patience with me, I'm fairly new to the boards and once I get a camera again I will be all over this board try to collect tips and tutorials and participate in the challenges, etc. Thanks for any advice you might have on the new camera
