Have never seen them in this area. Was in a hurry and didn't turn the car off so got some added camera shake. These were the best two and still not very good but thought some of y'all might enjoy. Usually they are done past us headed back north at this time.

I've never seen one either. Are these like an Egret or a Stalk at all ??. You have so many birds we don't have, so I'm never sure what you have

I have seen a few about 50 miles from here but never in this area. Just started seeing sandhill cranes come thru this area about 3-4 years ago in large numbers. These were only 40 yards off the road but the closest pull off was about 100 yards from them. I really need a longer lense my 300 mm just doesn't give me the shots I would like on Leary birds like these.
