Why are Circular fisheye not more in?

Does anyone here use Circular fisheye lenses on the regular or maybe now and then? If so, what is your favourite lens and how do you use it in your shoots?

I pull out my Siggy 8mm on occasion. Mostly to create 180x360 VR panos.
