why did i get banned this time?

i did absoutley NOTHING this time... i've been a nice guy, i've been offering legit input on peoples photos, can a mod PLEASE tell why the heck I got banned this time? (nikonguy)

yes, and I know who it is.. and he's abusing his power as a mod.. i truely did NOTHING this time to deserve a ban...

BAHAHAHA now thats damn funny... i do think he's a punk ass kid.. but i'm ok with him having a d700, as long as mommy and daddy didnt buy it for him... kids who hav gear like that because mom and dad bought it piss me off... but if he has it because he earned the money himself (especially from shooting photos.. providing that the photos were decent and not just a scam to the parents of kids.. most people think big camera, good pictures" and as it has been stated, we've still yet to see any of these sports photos..) then i say more power to him... but i do still think he's a punk ass kid..
btw, where are your photos.. your flickr just has 54 kinda lame landscapy type shots.. show us the money makers..

That would pretty much do it.

Also, I've found on other boards that if you get the bannage and create an "alter," that alter is banned once they are found out.

Edit: For the record, I am somewhat skeptical (read: jealous/envious :mrgreen of young Master Coleman's success at such a tender age. But the point remains that he seems like a GOOD KID who is much more mature than I was at age 15. When I was 15, my goal for the weekend was to find as much beer or Boone's farm as I could possibly drink. If you wish to express your cynicism, you would do well to approach the subject in a much more constructive and mature manner.

the guy who banned me told me 2 weeks ago "i know this is you chris" and he just told me that he'd be watching me.. which is why i've been nice.. i havent said ANYTHING that someone hasnt said before me..

that was repeating something that someone else said, did they get banned, NO... everything that i've ever been banned for has been no different than what other people have said... the first time i was banned, was for telling a guy that his picture did nothing for me... then he complained about me saying that, so I said "if you cant take honest critque, don't post photos.. meanwhile, 6 people before me said "they don't do much for me" did they get banned, NO....

I'm glad that people have told me they are creating their own photo forum, I cannot WAIT for it to be created... maybe one of the rules of that forum should be "no babies"

If you get banned first thing is to check you email - most times a message will be sent there with details
Further it might be prudent to contact a mod or admin via pm rather than a thread like this if you do decide to try and get round it with a second account. Also remember there is ban and there is suspension - make sure your not in the latter group before you jump otherwise you end up in the former group

no, i always get banned, no warnings or anything... i'm done with this forum, its ridiculous.. one person says something, and people chuckle about it, another person says the same thing, and gets banned... i dont want to be a part of a community that has different standards for different people... and i also don't want to be a part of a photo group, where the users cannot take honest critisim..

someones not a happy camper....if you keep getting banned, my advice is to do what your doing and leave, or just keep making new accounts...which really gets annoying and eventually will lead to leaving the forum....

Is this really why "chris" was banned? It's kinda ridiculous if that's the case. It's not like he posted porn or was shouting out obscenities all the time.

Seriously, i've seen worse, and i'm sure i've typed worse myself, and i'm still here, the other people who posted worse then what's above are still here, no reason why "chris" shouldn't still be here.

what a surprise another 'but why me' thread.

I'll make this as simple as i can as i seem to have to keep repeating myself to you chris.

The reason you were banned in the first place is for a number of reasons NOT one reason.
We had reported posts being sent to us by other users who did not like your tone. This is enough to get banned as it is.
You then personally attacked a mod (me) in someones thread, and started harping on about me being post count happy (which every other long term member would know that im not) as well as a few other personal comments.

Now to 'this time'.... you should understand that there shouldn't even be a 'this time' at all. Once you are banned you are banned period. We save the second chances as infractions of which you already recieved in your chris burke account.
So you shouldn't even be here to start with. However a few of us mods agreed that we will just let it fly for now, even tho we knew you went ahead and created another account.
This new account came back to my attention because another member (i will not name who) reported a post. They did NOT know it was you chris.. so in other words you had offended someone... again.
So that account was banned... and here you are again QQing about being banned and blaming it on 'one mod' who has it in for you.... take a step back and try and remember what it is you did, before coming up with the most lame stupid reasons for why you might be banned.
